Teacher’s Day Celebration
Teachers’ Day is one of the most celebrated days in honor of teachers by the students in schools, colleges and institutes and may include celebrations to honor them for their special contributions.

Teacher’s day is celebrated in memory of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (5 September 1888 – 17 April 1975) who was an Indian philosopher and statesman who was the first Vice-President of India (1952–1962) and the second President of India from 1962 to 1967.
KIMSians celebrated teacher’s day on 5th September with much shine and entertainment. The event was formally inaugurated by Director of KIMS Dr.Dharmendra Varshney. MBA and PGDM students from I & II year batches whole participated with enthusiasm. The event was started with lamp lightening ceremony by Shri Kumar Akshay, Mrs Deepali Verma, Prof Ankur Johari and Dr.Ramesh Chandra.
The celebration was filled with entertaining dance performances and elite singing of the students of MBA and PGDM.
All the faculty members and staff were presented with a sobriquet and gift by students. Dr. Dharmendra Varshney addressed the faculty and students, in his speech he stated about Dr.Sarvpalli Radha Krishnan on whose birthday teacher’s day is celebrated, later

A game of cards was organized for the teachers and staff and the winner teacher was presented a prize.
The ceremony ended with the Vote of thanks by KIMS-ain Om Tiwari and Ankita Nigam.
